World Class Start
Contact: Mary McLachlan (wcs)
The World Class Start programme is the National programme for fast-tracking beginners to international level. You should consider this if you are aged between 16 and 18 years old, tall, strong and would like to take your rowing to a high level.
Further details of this ARA-run programme can be found here.
Veteran Squad
Contact: Andy 'Gripper' Watson (chairman)
We have an active contingent of veteran rowers (at least 31 years old). If you'd like to get involved, there are regular training sessions and racing from local regattas to the Tideway Heads and Henley Royal Regatta.
Senior Squads
If you have rowed before then you'll most likely want to get involved with the senior squads. There are regular training sessions, with regular coaching from Raf Wyatt and Rebecca Caroe. Most members spend most of their time in small boats, which allows us to cater for mixed abilities and commitment levels, but we do form fours, quads and eights for the big regional and national competitions.
Membership Form
Once you have decided to join the club, please complete the Membership Form and send it to Brett Saunders, our Membership Secretary.
